Daughter of RA is an Amsterdam-based artist management company dedicated to discovering and elevating emerging talent, with a strong focus on emerging artists. Inspired by the royal title of Pharaoh and Queen Hatshepsut of Egypt, our name reflects our commitment to empowerment, leadership, and artistic excellence.

Founded by Mayan Fawaz in Amsterdam, Daughter of RA bridges cultures and creative visions, providing artists with the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive. We believe in nurturing talent, fostering authentic connections, and shaping the future of the music and arts industries.

At Daughter of RA, we don’t just manage artists—we champion their voices.

Mayan has been in the music industry since 2006. She started out as a DJ in Cairo, Egypt and is referred to as the first female dj in the country. Mayan continued her career to play in many countries until residing in Qatar in2013, where she had many residencies and joined Mystique Management.

In 2018 Mayan became The Music Director of Mystique Management, curating the sound and doing the bookings for Society Doha, Monkey Tale Doha and Kaia. 

In 2024 Mayan opened a bespoke Artist Management company: Daughter of Ra, aimed to represent upcoming Djs and musicians.
